Today, I took my "Poem" bot's backtesting parameters and implemented a Binance Future's trading algorithm on that. I already had code from Binance spot trading platform, so in all it took only about 10 hours, and now it's up and running on Binance Future's testnet.
I expect some bugs, but there are really not that many control flows that can break. And I learned my lesson the hard way getting absolutely rekt in my last attempt. This time, I can select risk easily using two different parameters: how large part of my wallet I'm going to trade with (isolation positions), and how high leverage I'll use on the trading part. If I set that sufficiently low, I'll be absolutely safe from rekage.
Right now I've seen that the bot can reverse position and it can correct it's position if it overbought or got too little on the last order. That's pretty much all it needs to do. So I'll leave it running on the testnet for a few hours. Then port to Linux and deploy in the cloud. Lastly, I just need to get inject some real USD and run it with the --live switch. And then brace for impact -- with richness. =]
