Ventures of an ex indie game developer

Book art

In one of my first attempts at vector drawing I thought I'd try and make my own version of Jeff Atwood's meeting piece.

I used some photos which I vectorized and tried to modify to my satisfaction. I used a freeware called InkScape, and since I totally lack experience I guess it was alright, but everything was cumbersome to me. On the other hand, that's exactly what I felt when I tried Photoshop the first time.

The quality is poor on all the things are belong to us, but with a little bit of training I might be able to pull off something slightly better. I just have to accept that I'm no artist; my main focus will be to make the illustrations clear and coherent.
