I think my finance plotting library finplot is slowly eating in to the finance plotting niche. Google says 3600 hits.
The stars on github are growing exponentially.
In public github repos, it's used approx. 40 times (by others).
I noted the first question directed at StackOverflow instead of directly at me. There's a tiny Thai tutorial on YouTube. Even found a freelancer job posting "related" to finplot. mplfinance is still 2-5x more popular, however, but perhaps the trend has shifted in the last three months or so.
Bugs are fairly far apart these days, and there is rarely a question on something that can't be done with finplot or the underlying pyqtgraph. Dogfoodingwise, it does the job for me, and a good job at that.
The only thing I'm contemplating is if I perhaps should add an "autobot analyze" button if the candlestick data supplied is plentiful and looks ok. But no, I'll leave that as an exercise to the user. =]
