Found a simple backtesting parameter to stabilize the buy/sell algorithm in three lines of code which adds 1.8 RiskMags on the higher end of the risk spectrum (and 0.5 RiskMags in the level I'm at now). Come to think of it, I'll use something like "pay as you go" where I'll only risk what I've earned in a single liquidation once I increase my capital past a certain point.
I'm currently up 17%, but as always when dealing with the robot still a bit dissatisfied, although I know I shouldn't be. The reason is that it was up 28% at its peak a couple of days back. Oh well, if I get another 17% within the next three of weeks, I'll have enough to step up my game.
And I'll try to not obsess about losses. These things happen, and they'll keep on happening in the future where, if everything goes according to plan, I'll lose thousands of bitcoins. Well, that particular part is not part of the plan per se, but you know what I mean.
