Oh well, this should be one of the last major bugs though. There is really not much else that can go wrong now, I feel. The code is very simple and straight-forward and my main code is only 360 lines. Naturally, I have some utils, financial backtesting, loading historic data, keeping track of orders/positions/wallet for a total of 1600 lines, but those should be 99% battle-tested by now, as most of that "backend" code has been running live trading for more than a year by now.
Even though I lost out of the big buck yesterday, there will be blood soon enough. And even when there is hardly any volatility on the crypto market, "Musk" still is able to pick some ripe apples:
One should note though that there is still a long way back to those 375% BTC I had gained, until I tried out a failed high-risk strategy in mid-January 2019:
It's going to take Musk between 95 and 546 days to get back to where I was in mid-January. 546 days is a worst-case scenario, with bugs, no spikes and low volatility. 95 days is a best-case scenario without major bugs but with continued historic volatility as it's been the last couple of years. My guess is it's going to take Musk until 2019-09-16 to get back to where I was mid-January. This prognosis is bound to be very poor, as Musk only has been running the final version for 37 days. When it's been running for 90 days, I'll get back with a new and improved projection.
Life is good, not only crypto-currency wise, but I'm also getting a dayjob, and getting out of the house will be a very welcome break for this crazy ascetic lifestyle. Also let off the chastity hook, as I've just met a woman and we're both crazy in love. Apart from being in love, she's also involontarily over-average psycic, with precognitive dreams, raw clairvoyant skillz and even sometimes senses the departed. Not to mention she's a fairly devout muslim, so plenty of room to challenge my prejudices there too. You just gotta love it. Life.
