Joining 'em and insanity

Two year ago I wrote that we need to vote left to take back the initiative from the super-rich. I have two problems with that now.
  1. The left has partially caused a dangerous rift in our society. Sweden used to be the gold standard in everything from schooling to welfare to nursing. But more important than that, the left wing has kept quiet about the poor integration politics, and the media (which is heavily unbalanced to the left) has set the agenda in the most unfavorable way. Which have led to second generation immigrant criminals causing havoc in a large part of Swedish society (more than quadrupled percentage of gun deaths in seven years, 2010 we were at 1.47%). I would still vote left if it weren't for the lies and the incompetence in integration policies. I'm hoping for a miracle cure, to not having to take one step back to move two ahead. German history shows us we should be scared.
  2. I'm joining the 1% shortly. As of now I'm just a regular guy with a regular job, perhaps slightly over middle income, but not by much. But I'm on the start of an exponential curve, and quickly picking up escape velocity. It's going to go so fast it scares me; I just hope I can continue being a regular, sane guy. Most, but not all, react well to immediate wealth. Please let me be one of those that do.
Haven't been scared like this since I was a teenager, afaicr. Possibly cognitive dissonance. I could use something to sleep on...
