One might sometimes forget how fun and inspiring it can be to work hard against a release. Sitting in the office of the day-job, fixing bugs, testing, finalizing. Discussing features, how far one's come and how much further one must go to totally dominate the global market.
Myself, I've been too busy coding at night at home the last couple of years to take notice. I have to do this more often! :)
